High Velocity / Low Volume (PV) vs Low Velocity / High Volume

Many companies have found out that removal at source, within inches of where the dust is generated is the most effective method to get rid of it. It prevents the dust or harmful pathogen from causing problem to the production or employees’ health. Building or Clean Room Air Conditioning operate better too, without having to handle flying dusts / pathogen that has escape from the Dust Collection System-(Low Velocity / High Volume System).

Small flexible tubes or collection shrouds are connected to each tool; these in turn are connected to a network of pipes that run throughout the plant. The pipes lead to a central vacuum exhauster and seperators which remove the dust, chips or pathogen from the air flow.
